Celebrate 25 Years of Art and Fitness
For the past 25 years, the Race for the Arts has been dedicated to raising funds and awareness for California’s nonprofit visual, performing, cultural, literary, and culinary arts organizations, as well as school programs. More than 215 arts organizations and school programs have benefited from this event, with 100% of pledges going directly to the designated recipients. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply an arts enthusiast, this event has something for everyone.
A Day Full of Activities
The day kicks off with the 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Runs in the scenic William Land Park, near the Sacramento Zoo. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join in. For those who want to track their performance, a B-tag timing system will be in place to record finish times.
But the fun doesn't end at the finish line! Stick around after the race for the Free Arts Festival. Enjoy live entertainment along the racecourse and continuous performances on the Amphitheatre Stage, where there will be plenty of seating for you to relax and soak in the arts. Feel free to bring a picnic and make a day out of it!
Exciting Booths and Performances
The festival boasts over 40 hands-on, interactive arts booths where attendees can try their hand at a variety of artistic activities. Sample delicious food from local vendors and food trucks, and be sure to visit the booth where registered runners can pick up their exclusive Trumpette-designed socks.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, some participants run in costume, representing their organization or school, spreading joy and creativity along the route.
Special Giveaway
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, registered runners and walkers have the chance to win four Two Day One Park Per Day Tickets to the Disneyland Resort! The drawing will take place at 10:45 AM, and tickets will be available at the time of the drawing.
